Experience
Novum Ventures Partners is founded on experience in both business operations and private equity investments. Our Partners have a combined experience of more than 50 years, having provided exits of above 20% IRR.

Our Partners have managed a global portfolio value of above RM600.0 million. We are established and well known in the private equity and venture capital circles in the region.

Our Team
Ng Mun Hon
Managing Director
Mr. Ng brings more than 19 years of investment experience of which 12 years are in direct investments in private markets with a focus on venture and growth companies.
Prior to Novum, Mr. Ng served as Vice President, Strategic Investments at Malaysia’s National Innovation Agency focusing on investing in innovative companies globally. His portfolio includes investments in Semiconductor, Software (Digital), Healthcare and Manufacturing.
Between 2008 and 2012, Mr. Ng was attached to Malaysia Venture Capital Management (Mavcap), the largest Venture Capital firm in Malaysia with AUM of RM1.2 billion. His focus was growth and pre-IPO investments. During his tenure at Mavcap, he pioneered the first Greentech investments which returned more than 20% IRR.
Mr. Ng was an investment banker/ corporate finance professional between 2001 and 2008, with stints at Public Investment Bank and TA Securities.
Mr. Ng received a B.Sc. (Honours) Economics & Finance from University of Southampton, UK.
Azrin Ajib
Director
En. Azrin brings more than 16 years experience in business management and accounting.
En. Azrin started his accounting career with Deloitte before joining the UK National Audit Office.
As an entrepreneur, En. Azrin founded two companies - Malaysia's first automated halal poultry abattoir and a social media listening and analytics software company.
Prior to Novum, Azrin served as Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Business Development at the Halal Industry Development Corporation, an initiative by the Malaysian Government to develop Malaysia’s Halal ecosystem and infrastructure.
En. Azrin received a B.Sc. Accounts & Finance from University of Southampton.
